WestCoast Pilates Academy Corp. (“we,” “us,” or “the Academy”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. WestCoast Pilates Academy Corp. is a Pilates education studio founded by Natalia Rabin, Registered Physiotherapist and Master Pilates Educator, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We provide continuing education workshops, teacher training, mentorship, and workout sessions for Pilates professionals and enthusiasts.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our programs and respond to you:

  • Contact inquiries — when you use our contact page or email us, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and your message.
  • Newsletter subscription — when you subscribe, we collect your email address.
  • Bookings — when you book a session or workshop through our scheduling system (Cal.com), we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email, and any notes you share.
  • Payments — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment was made, but your full card number and billing details are handled by Stripe and are never visible to or stored by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your questions and inquiries;
  • Confirm and manage your bookings and purchases;
  • Send you updates about upcoming workshops and programs, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • Maintain and improve this website; and
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for third-party marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

4. Cookies & Analytics

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a small number of security-related cookies (for example, to identify trusted web traffic and protect the site from abuse). These are necessary for the site to operate safely.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not currently run third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required for legal, tax, and record-keeping purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion at any time (see section 9).

8. Recordings & Photographs

Live-streamed sessions may be recorded, and your participation is subject to the photograph and video release described in our Terms & Cancellation Policy. Recordings are used for the educational purposes listed there and are not sold.

We operate in Canada and comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • Ask us to delete your information;
  • Withdraw consent to receive our newsletter at any time (each email includes an unsubscribe link, or simply email us).
